- No lotions or oils on the area on the day.
- Tell us if you use retinoids, isotretinoin or blood thinners.

- Skip perfumed products on the area for two days.
- Start gentle exfoliation after 2–3 days and continue twice a week to prevent ingrown hairs.
- Don't shave between appointments.

- You take isotretinoin or stopped less than 6 months ago.

- Hair length — at least 2 mm, which is 2–3 weeks after shaving.
- In summer — before the trip, not straight after a day at the beach: we don't wax sunburnt skin.

About the treatment
Thigh waxing is a good choice if your lower-leg hair is light or you take care of it another way, but want an even, smooth result on the thighs. LYCON wax also removes light, fine hairs that are easy to miss when shaving.
Thighs or full legs?
If you want both lower legs and thighs smooth, full leg waxing (€70) costs less than thighs and lower legs separately (€80). For lower legs only, see lower leg waxing. See leg waxing: full or by area?
Thighs rub – dress loosely
The inner thighs rub together when you walk, and tight jeans or tights add friction on freshly waxed skin. Choose loose trousers or a skirt for the day of your visit.
Some redness around the hair openings right after waxing is expected and fades within hours.

Are the inner thighs included?
Tell us at the start what you want waxed – the inner thighs are agreed then too. The bikini area is a separate treatment.
What if I have varicose veins on my thighs?
Show them to your cosmetologist first – areas with varicose veins are left out.
How often should I wax my thighs?
Many rebook their thighs after 4–6 weeks. The more regularly you come, the more evenly the hair grows.
What if I get bumps on my thighs?
Small bumps usually calm down within a day. Do not scratch them, and start a gentle scrub a few days later.
Is it worth waxing light thigh hair?
Yes, if it bothers you. Wax removes light hair too, as long as it is at least 2 mm long.
