How treatments work
Three types of light. Different skin goals.
Select a colour to explore its role in Dermalux care.

Blue · 415 nm
In Dermalux programmes, blue light is meant for blemish-prone skin. It does not replace cleansing or treatment prescribed by a doctor.
Red · 633 nm
Red light is used when the goal relates to skin texture and fine lines. The programme is chosen to suit your skin.
Near infrared · 830 nm
Near-infrared light is invisible, so the picture shows it as a warm tone. According to the manufacturer, it supports skin recovery and suits skin prone to redness.
Microneedling: from treatment to recovery.
Microneedling in three steps: assessment, treatment and recovery.

Before treatment
First we assess your skin, your goal and whether the treatment suits you. The intensity is chosen for your skin, not by age.
Microchannels
The device makes controlled micro-punctures in the skin. The depth is chosen for the area and your skin.
Recovery
The skin starts to recover right after the treatment. Recovery is individual, and you get home-care instructions at the end of the visit.
Surface RF: contact and controlled warmth.
How non-invasive RF treatment works.

Surface contact
The handpiece moves over the skin surface. There are no needles or punctures.
Thermal effect
Radiofrequency energy warms the deeper layers of the skin in a controlled way. Temperature and settings are chosen for your skin.
What can happen inside a pore?
Skin can have all of these at the same time.

Clear canal
A follicle without an obvious blockage, shown for comparison.
Closed comedone
A blockage beneath the surface. Care depends on the whole skin condition.
Open comedone
The dark plug reflects oxidation; it does not mean the skin is dirty.
Inflammation
Redness and pain need attention. Persistent or deep inflammation calls for medical assessment.
Hydration starts with the skin barrier.
Imagine the outer layer as a network of cells with lipids between them.

When the barrier feels stressed
Irritation and tightness are signs that your routine needs a review. When the barrier is weak, moisture escapes from the skin more easily.
Barrier support
Suitable cleansing and moisturising help the skin hold on to moisture and feel comfortable.
Wax removes the hair. The follicle remains.
A simple explanation of waxing and why hair grows back.

Hair grip
The wax is applied to the skin and grips the hair. The wax is chosen for the area and your skin.
Hair removal
The hair comes out from the root, but the follicle stays, so the hair grows back over time.
Three steps in one visit.
Choose a step to see what happens to the skin.

1 · Cleanse
A water vortex gently lifts dead cells and surface impurities without scrubbing.
2 · Pores
Light suction draws loosened sebum and impurities out of the pores. Intensity is chosen for your skin.
3 · Hydrate
Hydrating serums finish the treatment, leaving the surface supple and radiant.
Sound waves that cleanse.
Choose a step.

Vibration
Ultrasonic vibration of the steel spatula turns the water on the skin into a fine mist.
Lift
The mist and vibration loosen dead surface cells and sebum in the pores.
Result
Skin is clean and smooth. The method is gentle and suits more sensitive skin too.
From a clogged pore to a clean one.
Choose a step.

Blockage
A sebum plug clogs the pore and oxidises at the surface into a dark blackhead.
Soften
Warmth and steam soften the skin and open the pore so cleansing is gentler.
Clean pore
The pore is cleared hygienically and the skin is calmed at the end.
A fresh new surface.
Choose a step.

Before
Dead cells build up on the surface and the skin looks rough and dull.
Peel
Acids loosen the bonds between dead cells so the layer lifts in a controlled way.
After
A smoother, brighter surface appears. Sun protection is essential afterwards.
Calm for breakout-prone skin.
Choose a step.

Inflammation
Excess sebum and bacteria block the pore and redness forms around it.
Treatment
An absorbing clay mask binds sebum on the surface and calms redness.
Balance
With regular care and the right home routine the skin balances out. Deep acne needs a doctor’s assessment.
Support for firmness.
Choose a step.

Mature skin
Skin thins and collagen and elastin fibres slacken — the surface loses firmness.
Nourish
Active serums and massage support hydration and a sense of elasticity.
Firmness
Regular care and home care help the skin look firmer and more rested.
A more even, brighter tone.
Choose a step.

Uneven tone
Clusters of pigment show as patches and make the skin look dull.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is an antioxidant that supports radiance and an even tone.
Glow
The result is more even, brighter skin — sun protection keeps the effect.
Freshness from carbon dioxide.
Choose a step.

Gel
A gel on the skin releases fine carbon dioxide bubbles.
Circulation
The skin responds to CO2 by boosting local circulation and oxygen supply.
Fresh skin
Skin looks fresh, rosy and rested.
Thin skin needs its own care.
Choose a step.

Thin skin
The skin around the eyes is thinner than elsewhere and puffs and dries more easily.
Hydrate
A cool hydrogel patch delivers moisture and soothes puffiness.
Rested look
The skin looks smoother and more rested right after the treatment.
From straight to lifted.
Choose a step.

Before
Natural lashes grow straight or slightly downward.
Lift
Lashes are laid over a silicone shield and their shape is set.
After
Lashes curve upward and look longer for about 6–8 weeks.
Full, neat brows.
Choose a step.

Before
Hairs grow in different directions and leave gaps.
Shape
Hairs are brushed up and set in the chosen direction.
After
The brow is full and uniform, tint defines the shape. Lasts up to 6 weeks.
Lighter body, smoother skin.
Choose a step.

Swelling
Fluid trapped in the tissue feels heavy and makes the surface uneven.
Massage
Rollers and vacuum stimulate lymph flow while RF warms the tissue.
Result
As a course it brings a lighter feeling and smoother-looking skin.
