- Exfoliate gently 1–2 days before, but not on the day.
- No lotions or oils on the area on the day.
- Tell us if you use retinoids, isotretinoin or blood thinners.
Aftercare

- Skip perfumed products on the area for two days.
- Start gentle exfoliation after 2–3 days and continue twice a week to prevent ingrown hairs.
- Don't shave between appointments.

- In summer — before the trip, not straight after a day at the beach: we don't wax sunburnt skin.

About the treatment
Chest waxing gives a neat, smooth result that lasts for weeks – unlike shaving, which turns into stubble within a couple of days. It is mostly booked by men. LYCON wax removes even coarse hair from the root.
Who is chest waxing for?

The chest can be combined with back waxing and stomach waxing.
Your first chest wax
The skin on the chest is thin, and you will clearly feel the wax around the pecs and collarbones. That is why the wax is removed in small sections with the skin held taut. If you need a pause, just say so – we can take one.
If you have shaved your chest before, let the hair grow for about 2–3 weeks before the visit.
Price and duration
A chest wax takes about an hour and the price is €60. The back and stomach can be booked for the same visit – see areas and prices on the hair removal page.

Long hair is trimmed, and the skin is cleansed and dried.
Waxing in small sections
The wax comes off one section at a time with the skin taut, so the pull feels milder.

The skin is soothed, and you hear what to avoid tomorrow.

Can I wax just part of the chest?
Yes. Say at the start if you want only the centre waxed. Your cosmetologist will tell you what is possible.
Can women book chest waxing?
The treatment is designed mainly for men. If you have a few hairs on the décolleté, ask us beforehand which treatment suits best.
Will the skin itch as the hair grows back?
Less than after shaving, because the hair grows back with a soft tip rather than a cut end. A gentle scrub a few days after waxing keeps the skin even.
When should I wax before a competition or a photo shoot?
A couple of days before, so any redness has gone. Do not try waxing for the very first time right before an important day.
Can I have chest and back waxed in one visit?
Yes. Book both treatments back to back, and they are done in the same visit.
