- Exfoliate gently 1–2 days before, but not on the day.

- Tell us if you use retinoids, isotretinoin or blood thinners.

- Skip perfumed products on the area for two days.
- Start gentle exfoliation after 2–3 days and continue twice a week to prevent ingrown hairs.

About the treatment
Facial waxing removes hair from several areas of the face at once, for example the upper lip and chin. Brow shaping is not included. The result is smooth and neat, and make-up goes on more evenly without the fuzz.
What does facial waxing include?

Brow shaping is not part of face waxing. For the upper lip only, choose upper lip waxing, and for brows brow shaping and tint.
Facial skin and active skincare
Facial skin is thinner than body skin, and many people use active ingredients on it. , acid peels and skin-thinning medication make the skin more sensitive, so wax can irritate it. Mention them when you book.
If you have breakouts or a rash, the waxing is postponed until the skin has calmed down.
Price and duration
Face waxing takes about 30 minutes and costs €30. Other areas for waxing are on the hair removal page.

No – waxing does not change the colour. Regrowth on the face is usually soft.
Can facial fuzz be waxed?
Yes. Wax grips fine hair too, as long as it is long enough.
Can I wear make-up after waxing?
Wait until the next day. Make-up then usually goes on more evenly than before.
Can I wax if I have acne?
Inflamed spots are not waxed. Tell us about your skin beforehand, and your cosmetologist will see which areas can be treated.
