Mature skin without age labels: which treatments truly support your skin over the years
01

The goal is healthy skin, not a younger picture

At Skinique we believe the goal of caring for mature skin isn't to look twenty, but for the skin to be well: hydrated, elastic, even and radiant. When skin is well, it looks rested – whatever your age.

That's why we don't choose treatments by age. Two people of the same age can need completely different things: one has dehydrated, sensitised skin; the other has lost firmness but is otherwise in good shape.

02

The four most common wishes – and treatments for them

  1. Skin is dry, tight and looks tired → GIGI Hydra Therapy or the hydrating facial. Read about dryness.
  2. Elasticity and firmness have decreased, the jawline has softened → GIGI Age Reverse or RF lifting. Read about RF.
  3. Uneven texture, large pores, visible lines → microneedling or BioRePeel. Read about microneedling.
  4. Grey, uneven tone → GIGI Glow Vitamin C. Read about vitamin C.

Surface RF: contact and controlled warmth.

Surface contact

The handpiece moves over the skin surface. There are no needles or punctures.

03

Device treatments or not?

Not everyone needs device treatments, and there's no set age to start. Many get excellent results from regular facials and good home care. Device treatments – RF, microneedling and LED – are useful when the goal is a change products alone can't reach, such as firmness or texture.

They're also different from injectables. Skinique doesn't offer fillers or muscle relaxants. If you've had them, tell us, as they affect for example the timing of RF.

04

How a plan comes together

A good plan goes in stages:

Ready-made plans are the Anti-age programme and the RF face course. If you don't know where to start, in the special facial your cosmetologist assesses your skin and suggests an order.

05

The basis of home care

Home care matters as much as studio visits:

During menopause skin can quickly become drier and more sensitive. Then it's worth lightening the routine and adding nourishment.
