About the treatment
During puberty the skin changes: it produces more oil, pores clog and spots appear easily. The young skin facial cleanses thoroughly but gently and helps the skin find its balance. Just as important is what the young person learns: your cosmetologist shows how to cleanse and moisturise at home, and what to leave out. For many, this is where a good skincare routine begins.
Who is it for?
The treatment is designed for roughly 12–19-year-olds with:
- blackheads and clogged pores
- an oily
- occasional spots
- uncertainty about which products suit their skin
If there are many inflamed spots or acne, the treatment is planned to calm the skin, and your cosmetologist will recommend seeing a doctor if needed. For regular care there is the Clean Start programme, and home tips in young skin: start simple.
What happens in the treatment?
The skin is cleansed and exfoliated, and congestion is gently removed if needed. Inflamed spots are never squeezed. Then a calming, balancing mask and light care products are applied.
At the end we go through a simple home routine: a mild cleanser, a light moisturiser and sunscreen. The goal is healthy skin without ten different jars.
For parents and guardians
Clients under 18 need a guardian's consent, and the youngest clients come with a guardian. Only mild products suitable for young skin are used – no adult intensive treatments. Younger children have their own approach; see a child's skin.
Price and duration
The young skin facial takes about 75 minutes and costs €80.
