About the treatment
Hydrapeel is a facial that cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates your skin in one visit. It works with water and gentle suction: the device lifts away , draws oil and debris out of the pores and delivers hydrating serums into freshly cleansed skin. You see the result immediately – clean, smooth, rested-looking skin – and you can go straight back to your day. We finish with professional GIGI cosmetics (Israel) chosen for your skin type.
Who is Hydrapeel for?
It suits almost every skin type, including sensitive skin, because there is no squeezing and no strong acids. It is a particularly good choice if:
- your skin looks dull, tired or grey
- your pores are enlarged or congested and blackheads gather on the nose and chin
- your skin feels tight and dry but still gets oily in the
- your make-up no longer sits evenly
- you want fresh skin before a party, a photo shoot or a holiday
If you have many inflamed spots, your cosmetologist will often suggest calming the skin first, for example with the GIGI Clear Skin Control facial.
How does it work?
Hydrapeel is based on water exfoliation, also called hydradermabrasion. Liquid flows through the tip onto the skin while gentle suction lifts dead cells and the oil trapped in the pores. Unlike a manual deep cleanse, nothing is squeezed by hand, so the skin does not get red in the same way.
Once the skin is clean, it absorbs active ingredients well. That is why the treatment ends with hydrating serums and a mask chosen for your skin: moisture for dry skin, brightening ingredients for uneven tone and soothing ones for sensitive skin.
You can boost the result with an add-on such as a Dermalux LED light session, which calms the skin and supports recovery.
What results can you expect?
Most people notice the difference straight away: the skin feels smoother, the tone is brighter and make-up goes on more evenly. Pores look smaller because the oil and debris have been removed.
One treatment gives a fresh result for a few weeks. If you want a change that lasts longer – a smoother surface or fewer blackheads – a series works best. The Hydrapeel course of 3 visits costs less than three single visits.
Hydrapeel or another cleansing facial?

Questions
Does Hydrapeel hurt?
No. Most people describe it as cool with a light suction, a bit like a tiny suction cup gliding over the skin. Many find it relaxing.
Will my skin be red afterwards?
Skin may be slightly pink for 1–2 hours, especially if it is sensitive. Redness is usually milder than after a manual deep cleanse.
How often should I have it?
Once a month is often enough for maintenance. To reduce blackheads or smooth the surface, a series of three treatments 3–4 weeks apart gives the best result.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
Light make-up is fine the next day. On the day itself it is best to let the skin breathe.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The treatment is gentle and the serums are chosen for your skin. Tell us about any sensitivity so your cosmetologist can adjust the suction and products.
Can I have it during pregnancy?
Yes, with gentle products only. Tell us you are pregnant when you book, and your cosmetologist will adapt the treatment.
Can I have it in summer?
Yes. Hydrapeel does not thin the skin like strong peels do, but wear sunscreen diligently afterwards.
Is this the same as Hydrafacial?
No. Hydrafacial is one manufacturer's trademark. Skinique uses a Hydrapeel device that works on the same principle: water exfoliation, suction and serums. Ask your cosmetologist if you would like to know more about the device and serums.
