How does the biphasic BioRePeel C13 peel work on its own and combined with microneedling? A clear guide to results, recovery, pricing and who it suits.
Skinique editorial

Traditional medium-strength acid peels exfoliate the outer layer of the skin aggressively, often leaving the face red and visibly flaking for several days. BioRePeel C13 is a next-generation biphasic (two-phase) chemical peel designed to renew and brighten the skin without heavy shedding.
Right after the session, the skin looks fresh, clean and smooth. That makes it easy to fit into a busy workweek without taking time off.
BioRePeel C13 consists of two distinct phases that are mixed together right before application:
Because the surface barrier stays protected, you get the revitalising effect of an acid peel with minimal surface irritation.
Recent dermatological reviews and clinical meta-analyses show that combining chemical peeling with microneedling produces stronger improvements in atrophic acne scars and uneven skin texture than either treatment performed alone.
In Skinique's Microneedling + BioRePeel C13 protocol, the two steps complement each other in a precise sequence:

Standalone BioRePeel C13 (60 min) is the best choice when:
The combined Microneedling + BioRePeel C13 (75 min) suits you when:
If you have never had a chemical peel or microneedling before, we usually recommend starting with a single modality first to see how your skin responds.
Your safety always comes first. Neither BioRePeel nor the combination treatment is carried out if:

Before your visit:
During the session: While the BioRePeel gel is massaged onto the skin, you will feel mild warmth and tingling for a few minutes, which quickly subsides once the soothing hydration step is applied. Microneedling feels like a light vibration and prickling sensation; needle depth is adjusted individually for each facial zone.
Recovery depends on whether you choose the standalone peel or the combined protocol:
Will my skin peel visibly after BioRePeel? After standalone BioRePeel C13, visible flaking is rare because the lipid phase protects the outer layer. With the combined microneedling treatment, light flaking over a couple of days is normal as the skin renews.
When is the best time of year to book? Standalone BioRePeel can be done year-round with diligent SPF 50 protection. The combined Microneedling + BioRePeel C13 treatment is best scheduled between autumn and spring (November to March), when UV levels in Finland are low.
Is one session enough, or do I need a course? A single visit gives an immediate boost in smoothness and radiance. For acne scars, enlarged pores or firmer texture, a course of 3 sessions spaced 10–14 days apart (for the peel) or 3–4 weeks apart (for the combination) delivers cumulative results.

Skin concerns
After acne, the skin can be left with red or brown marks and with dents. Here is how to tell them apart and which treatment suits each.

Microneedling
Microneedling is one of the most effective ways to improve skin texture. We explain clearly what happens in the treatment, who it suits, how the skin recovers day by day and how many treatments you need.

Guides and comparisons
A chemical peel works on the skin's surface, microneedling on its structure. How the treatments differ, who each one suits and how the skin recovers.
