A peel removes dead cells from the surface of the skin and helps it renew. Skin looks fresher and feels smoother straight away, and a course evens out texture, pores and tone.

Winter brings little sun – the best time for peels and microneedling. The skin renews calmly and the risk of pigmentation is low.

BookAfter microneedling the skin needs 2–5 days to recover: book it for an ordinary week rather than right before a celebration. The best result comes from a series of 3 treatments 3–4 weeks apart. Use SPF in winter too.
Skinique offers two peels. BioRePeel is a two-phase peel that usually leaves no visible flaking, so you can have it in the middle of a busy week. The acid peel uses fruit or salicylic acids that clear the pores and reduce congestion. Your cosmetologist chooses the strength and timing for your skin.
The treatment takes 60 minutes. BioRePeel costs 110 € and the acid peel 95 €.
The difference between peels and microneedling is explained in the article peel or microneedling.
A single peel already makes skin smoother and brighter. A lasting change in texture, pores and tone comes from a course, usually three treatments a few weeks apart.
All courses are on the courses page.
Peels are best done from autumn to spring, when there is less sun. After a peel your skin is more sensitive to the sun, so wear sunscreen of at least SPF 30 every day. At the end of the visit your cosmetologist explains how to care for your skin at home over the next few days.
After BioRePeel there is usually no visible flaking. After the acid peel you may have slight redness or fine flaking for a few days, depending on the strength of the acids.
In a course, treatments are usually a few weeks apart. Your cosmetologist will suggest the right interval for your skin.
A gentle peel is possible in summer too if you are careful with sunscreen. We recommend stronger peels and courses from autumn to spring.
